Wastewater Treatment Operator

Tradestaff is on the lookout for a dedicated and driven Wastewater Operator to join our trusted client in the heart of Hawkes Bay!
This is a permanent, full time opportunity working 42.5 hours a week.
You will be responsible for ensuring operations and maintenance of 50 wastewater and 8 stormwater pump stations on a wastewater treatment plant.
Responsibilities: Checking, maintaining, and collecting data of 50 wastewater, 8 stormwater pump stations Checking, maintaining, operating and data collection of equipment to treat and process wastewater Identify and report faults, incidents and near misses to contribute to health and safety and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure plant vehicles and tools are left in a clean and tidy state at the end of each day Requirements: NZQA in Wastewater Treatment (level 4) or a minimum of 3 years operation experience with process plants or water industry Full Class 1 driver's license Excellent problem solving and record keeping skills Mechanically minded & analytical skills Benefits: Full time opportunity All PPE Provided Competitive weekly pay Do you want to make an impact to your local area in 2025?
