The remuneration range for this role is $106,892 to $150,906 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunityWith a focus on wastewater, work within our Modelling team and alongside our Network Engineering and Land Development teams, performing hydraulic modelling for land development enquiries and network planning for future growth. You will contribute to the management of 3 Waters asset data and take the lead on resolving complex issues, reviewing work and providing support and technical guidance to others.
You'll also:Develop, maintain and operate wastewater hydraulic models.Support the growth agenda with respect to water infrastructure, planning and network performance.Initiate strategies and policies for urban development and Civil Engineering Practice.Contribute to the development of operations and capital expenditure proposals.Upskill and mentor less experienced colleagues.About youTo be successful in this role you will bring the following: A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as Engineering or Science).Demonstrated experience in hydraulic modelling in wastewater, ideally using InfoWorks ICM.A background in the design of drainage and water infrastructure solutions.Experience in assessing land development proposals and GIS.An awareness of Resource Management Act and Building Act processes.At Wellington Water, our purpose extends beyond delivering great water services for the region; we foster a thriving community, support a diverse workforce, and offer supportive development opportunities.
