Reporting to the O&E Treatment Manager, you will lead the Wastewater Treatment team in the management of WorkSafe and quality control systems. This diverse position will take you both indoors and outdoors, offering a variety of tasks that will utilise your meticulous attention to detail and high levels of energy. You'll thrive in our collaborative environment and embrace the challenges that come with this vital role.Leading the wastewater operations on five days of the week and weekends as rostered, with a requirement to cover on callEnsuring that wastewater services are operating efficiently and economically and meet the needs of their usersEnsuring that resources and personnel are utilised effectively and in accordance with organisational objectives, as well as making sure that relevant records and analysis are maintained dailyProviding specific assistance services related to OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) and quality assurancesSampling according to scheduleServicing equipment according to maintenance schedulesProactively reporting problems and inefficiencies and proposing solutions as well as daily monitoring and recording of treatment plant operational dataAbout YouTo be successful in this position, you will have practical knowledge of water supply pumping stations and treatment systems. While holding a National Certificate in Water Treatment (Level 4) is ideal, what is most important is finding the right fit for our team and strong aptitude for the job.
