Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warranty and Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.
In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for managing warranty processes, ensuring customer satisfaction across our retail distribution network, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the bike industry, experience in warehousing, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to handling warranty claims.
Alternatively, it may suit a less experienced candidate on a career path, with an affinity and empathy for the electric bike business, and who is willing to learn, as part of a small dynamic management team.
The role offered could be both part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Warranty Supervisor: Oversee the warranty claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Coordinate with suppliers and service centres to manage repairs and replacements.
Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, parts, and service history.
Analyse warranty data to identify trends and recommend improvements to product quality.
Communicate effectively with the retailer network to provide updates on warranty claims and ensure a positive experience.
Liaise closely with the Technical Director on quality control issues.
Warehouse Management: Supervise and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate stock control.
Develop and implement warehouse procedures to optimize space and improve workflow.
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
Experience working in a bicycle workshop preferred with the ability to self-manage and learn quickly.
Familiarity with warranty processes and customer service best practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive, 'can do' and problem-solving mindset.
Must have a driver's licence.
