Full Time Application Closes 03 Oct Manawatu - Palmerston North Claims Adjuster, Examiners, and Investigators We have a rare and exciting opportunity available as a Warranty Assessor in our Service, Sales & Operations team.
This is the perfect opportunity if you are working in a dealership or in the automotive industry, have a good understanding of mechanics/parts and are looking to move into a corporate role, specialising in warranty claims management.
This is a permanent opportunity, based on-site in the office, Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North.
What's involved in the role: The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and assess warranty claims, as per criteria and guidelines.
Conducting investigations into warranty claims to ensure they are correctly assessed, key information is used to make decisions and claims are closed.
Warranty Administration and managing email enquiries from Toyota Stores, ensuring all incoming warranty queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Managing customer complaints (at the back end) by gathering evidence to support claims and support Toyota Stores when dealing with their customers.
Providing training, advice and guidance to the Toyota Store Network on Warranty & Service Plans.
Liaising with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) Japan and other stakeholders across the business.
Various warranty reporting as required.
Skills and attributes you will have to be successful in this role: Experience in the automotive industry, either repairing vehicles or working in Parts, so you have some technical knowledge when assessing claims.
Computer literacy, and proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite.
This role is primarily computer-based so it is essential you have these skills and are comfortable working at a computer all day.
Experience using a Dealer Management System is beneficial.
Experience using Salesforce would be advantageous (not essential).
Resilience and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with challenges.
Great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Great communication skills – both written & verbal.
