Warehouse/Trade Sales Assistant - Tile Industry The Tile Depot is a family owned and operated business with 13 stores across the country. We pride ourselves on being a leader within the flooring industry through selling quality product and providing a high level of service. An opportunity now exists to join the Tile Depot family, with a part time Warehouse/Trade Sales role available within our New Plymouth store. There is some flexibility in hours, although we are ideally looking for someone who is able to work Thursday - Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am - 1.00pm. Dealing primarily with our building and trade clientele, your key role responsibilities include: Serving trade and retail clientele; Unpacking and checking of inward goods pallets; Contacting customers to advise their orders are ready; Loading of customer vehicles; Ensuring the in-store warehouse area is kept organised and tidy, ensuring an efficient warehouse is maintained; Undertaking deliveries in the work supplied truck; Assisting the Store Manager as directed; With the role involving a fair amount of heavy lifting, you will need to be physically fit and healthy. While a current forklift licence is not necessary, previous experience is required. Applicants must have a strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude.
