Warehouse Supervisor

Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)We are looking for a "Jack of all" Warehouse Supervisor to join our New Plymouth team . The role has elements of warehouse management , deliveries and stock control, fleet administration and oversight of PPE, tools and equipment. The Workshop Supervisor will supervise the New Plymouth workshop operations, establishing stock control systems, improving efficiencies, and reducing waste.The role will ensure we establish excellent health and safety practices within the workshop including management of hazardous substances kept on site. Key responsibilities include:Establish workshop process to ensure peak efficiencyDevelop systems that ensure products are tracked, handled and stored correctlyOversee daily activities including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity and access by staff to stock and equipment.Manage our scrap and waste inline with our Totika Environmental accreditation.Maintain general office yard and workshop facilities.Keep our fleet register updated and arrange bookings with supplier for repairs and maintenancOversee the equipment database and issue of PPE , tools and equipmentWe are looking for someone who has demonstrated proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies who can work collaboratively across all the management teams.
