About the role
To provide leadership for the team. This role will be part of the Supply Chain team and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finished Goods warehouse.
What will you do?
Ensure all routine daily warehouse activities are completed accurately and on time (including picking, loading, documentation), liaising with Extrusions teams and transport/distribution contractors to organize the loading and unloading of finished goods.
Help lead and develop the health and safety culture on the site.
Contribute to and implement continuous improvement of the picking and stock control in the warehouse and yard, maintaining the site in a clean and safe manner.
Engage with the team in the warehouse and work with them to improve the processes and operations within the warehouse.
Ensure that all bio-security requirements are met as required by MPI.
About you
Certificate/diploma in a relevant area of expertise.
Supervisory history.
Supply chain experience.
Effective communication skills.
Good leadership/people management skills.
Excellent understanding of health/safety procedures.
