WAREHOUSE / STORES ASSISTANT
(Engineering Ind - Fulltime Summer Job)
A highly regarded international established engineering manufacturing North Shore company, operating from a large, open, well organised premises, are on the lookout for energetic, physically fit Warehouse / Stores Assistant, looking for a great job this summer, to assist with extra workload, and help the fast-paced engineering production & manufacturing teams over the busy summer period.
A great role, gaining experience within the engineer industry with a full of variety of tasks from stores, to wrapping machinery, jumping in / out of shipping containers to assisting with miscellaneous stores duties, helping make sure everything flows efficiently.
An awesome summer job on a fixed term contract, starting ASAP until March. Being physically fit & agile are a must, as tasks can be demanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in the Warehouse / Stores area
Wrapping machinery ready to ship
Securing & loading machinery into containers.
Working in / out of containers
Being physically fit & agile are very important to this role.
Loading and off-loading of trucks with the crane / forklift.
Assist with basic warehouse / stores duties if required.
Available to start immediately & work until March 2024
Important to be a team player with a good 'can do' attitude.
Can follow procedures, completing tasks correctly.
Must have high work standard with strong attention to detail.
Able to multi-task, cope under pressure, with effective communication.
Full and clean Driver's License
Previous forklift experience (Forklift license a bonus)
Must have the right to work in NZ.

Wage: $26/ neg on experience
Misc.: Free onsite parking & Overtime (1½) when available
