Working for the World Leader in Cable Manufacturing, you will support our Oceania operations in ensuring some of NZ's biggest providers in energy and telecom are serviced in full and on time (with the highest Industry standards in Safety & Quality).
Whether you're a seasoned warehouse professional or new to the industry – we encourage you to apply!This is a permanent role with working hours 7.00am - 3.30pm.Duties / ResponsibilitiesSupporting our logistics team to pick and prepare our cables to be shipped around NZ in a safe and timely manner, maintaining product qualityFollowing safe and standard operating procedures in forklift and load lifting, transport and storageWorking with the broader team and liaising between departments in the Logistics team for information/supportAssist with Cyclic counts (stocktake)You may have some if not all of the following (or be motivated to learn):Sound literacy and numeracy skills to be able to rad picking sheets, order information and count stock effectivelyBe a team player and self motivated when working unsupervisedBe reliable with a good worth ethic (and know the power of one in letting the team down when you're not around)Strong safety awareness and understanding of policies and proceduresBe open to performing a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screen as a condition of employment with PrysmianRequirementsCurrent forklift license or be willing to obtain oneThe Benefits Of Working With UsWorking with Prysmian means joining a Global family (and one with some great perks):Globally supported Sustainability and Diversity Programs (because we care about our people and the environments we operate in)A Prysmian Rewards Program (designed to save you money on the day to day) exclusive to our TeamAn inclusive Employee Share benefits schemeA dedicated Global Mentoring ProgramA culture that fosters inclusiveness, team work and joint successFree parking on all sitesYour application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
