In this role, you will manage inbound shipments and the picking & dispatching of goods from the finished goods distribution centre to our external customers.Nufarm people are the foundation of our success, and to enable them to be their best, we offer an inclusive environment and a range of flexible working options.Key Responsibilities:Ensuring a safe and efficient operation with the goal of zero incidentsWorking closely with a high-functioning small team to manage the warehouse, including independently leading casual membersPicking and packing various items in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and qualityLoading and unloading delivery vehicles and containers, primarily with a Forklift/Reach, in compliance with MPI standardsManaging picking/packing and goods receipt into the ERP systemConducting day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and associated equipmentHaving prior exposure to chemical handling and safe warehouse operationsUsing warehousing software such as JD Edwards and Excel, with intermediate computer skillsSupporting the delivery of supply chain continuous improvement projects as requiredEngaging in ongoing and continuous professional development to further your career and a passion for agricultureWhat do you bring?To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a stores/warehousing environment, operating reach forklifts, pick packing, and goods receiving, with a passion for delivering service and quality at all times.
We are seeking a candidate with strong initiative and the ability to lead the warehouse in a sole capacity at times, along with previous Microsoft/warehousing IT skills.
