About the Role We have openings for Warehouse Operators on our afternoon shift at our Penrose Distribution Center. This is a waged role working Monday to Friday (1pm to 9:30pm).
What you will Do Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goodsOperating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipmentLoading and unloading trucksMaintaining inventory accuracy and quality standardsFollowing health and safety procedures and policiesWorking as part of a team to meet deadlines and targetsWe're passionate about developing our people and will provide you with ongoing, on the job training to make sure you leave safely after every shift, as well as grow and develop your career.
About You To succeed in this role you will need to have strong communication skills, be safety conscious, physically fit, and reliable. You'll have excellent attention to detail when it comes to order accuracy, have a willing attitude and be self-motivated.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
A valid forklift licence, preferably reach or has held a licence in the pastPrevious experience in warehousing or distributionGood numeracy and literacy skillsA positive attitude and a strong work ethicFresh ideas and out of the box thinking to warehouse workYou will need the right to work in New Zealand and to be happy to complete a police check and pre-employment drug & alcohol test as part of the recruitment process.
