Warehouse Operator

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Operator to carry out our day-to-day warehouse operations. This role has a high focus on safety and quality; ensuring our standards and processes are understood and adhered to, to support the health of our people and the quality of our product.
You will play a key role in our inventory management, continuous improvement projects to increase warehouse efficiency and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Are you up for this challenge?
In this role, you will:
Conduct inventory checks to ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and focus on minimising discrepancies and lossesChampion health, safety and quality across the breadth of the warehouse operationsWork alongside suppliers and 3PL provider using consistent communication and collaborationWork collaboratively with planning and production teams to ensure materials are ready in accordance with production schedules and demand forecastsParticipate in continuous improvement projects focused on increasing efficiency within the warehouseAt times, supervise contractors working within the warehouse, ensuring a positive and productive working environmentQualificationsFor this role as a Warehouse Operator, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
Current fork hoist /counter balance /reach licenseProven experience within warehousing environmentsExperience in inventory management and have coordinated both inbound and outbound activitiesFamiliar with health, safety and quality systems and protocols within a food manufacturing environmentStrong communication skills (written and verbal) dealing with internal and external stakeholdersYou hold valid and unrestricted New Zealand working rightsAdditional InformationWhat's in it for you?
