DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Warehouse Operator, Administration in NZL - Auckland Airport, Landing Dr.
The Warehouse Operator, Administration is a critical role within the logistics supply chain, responsible for ensuring customer goods are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position involves a dual focus: spending approximately 60% of the time on physical warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, and 40% on administrative duties, including completing and processing paperwork as per established procedures.
Your typical day at DSV:
Order Fulfillment: Accurately picking and packing goods according to customer requirements, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Documentation: Managing and completing all associated paperwork, ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.
Communication: Acting as the liaison between warehouse operations and warehouse coordinators, providing vital updates and information.
Progress Tracking: Regularly updating the progression boards with actual activities completed to ensure transparency and efficient workflow management.
Efficiency Improvement: Identifying and suggesting improvements to warehouse processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
About you:
Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Warehouse experience including picking and packing, managing expiry dates, batch-controlled goods, and handling fragile and temperature-controlled goods.
Skilled in transport coordination, including consigning freight, reverse logistics, and scheduling deliveries.
Experienced in rework and kitting tasks, including bundling products for clients and re-labelling as needed.
Computer skills with Warehouse Management Systems or Transport Systems. Competent user of MS Outlook.
