Warehouse Operative

OverviewWe are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in managing stock and materials handling within our warehouse facility, working for the biggest cargo importer at Bournemouth airport.The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience in warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods, building pallets, and picking and packing orders.ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Stock shelves with received items.Build pallets for storage or shipping purposes.Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed.QualificationsPrevious experience in a warehouse environment is desirable.Proficiency in materials handling techniques.Mechanical knowledge for operating warehouse equipment.Familiarity with AS400 system is advantageous.Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to permContract length: 6 monthsPay: £24,000.00 per yearExperience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification: Forklift Licence (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 12/09/2024
