It's an exciting time at Shelving Shop Group as we continue our growth journey, which has resulted in our recent move to new larger premises in Hastings. We are now in search of a Warehouse Manager to be part of this exciting journey.
About the role As the Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations, lead and motivate our warehouse staff ensuring all targets are met. You will enjoy being hands on, picking, packing and assembling orders alongside your team.
Some key responsibilities will include: Lead and manage your own warehouse team New warehouse space – get involved in finalising the set up, get creative and make it your own Manage inventory levels – inventory accuracy, including organising & execution of stock take procedures Mentoring, coaching, and training of the warehouse team. Overseeing stock control and processing orders. Maintain a safe and clean work environment About you We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager that is self-motivated and highly organised. Someone that can hit the ground running, bring fresh ideas to the team and that has the drive to contribute to our ongoing success.
Important for this role: Experienced warehouse or distribution centre background with 3+ years supervisory experience. People management and development skills Warehouse system and process knowledge Experience managing stock levels and purchasing Excellent communication skills Strong computer skills Full driver's license Forklift operator certificate/Reach Truck/Counterbalance Clean criminal record Be part of a growing family business that offers a fun and dynamic culture where each day is different!
