They have robust systems and processes, and a true focus on Health & Safety.About The RoleThis is a true management role with a large team of 12 staff and reporting to the South Island Warehouse and Distribution Manager. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who is great at managing staff, growing staff and retaining staff. You will also undertake and be involved in improvement projects associated with the business to ensure continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 12 staffManage roster systemConduct performance reviewsProvide coaching and mentoring to team membersManage KPI's for teamManagement of work schedulesAchieved improvements in operationsOversee the devanning process and loading for import containersEnsure the Hornby site is looking well maintained, ensuring complianceAssist the overall management team to implement company-wide policies, procedures and systemsComplete H&S investigationsEnsure all inventory operations are completed correctlyCustomer managementQualifications & RequirementsKnowledgeable on audits and H&S protocolsPractical leadership experience in a warehousing environment including the recruitment, professional development and performance measurement of talentMinimum of 3-5 years warehouse management experienceStrong relationship builder and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisationHow to ApplyClick 'APPLY' or contact Katie France for a confidential discussion on 021 0815 9274.
