About the Role
This is a true management role with a large team of 12 staff and reporting to the National Warehouse and Distribution Manager. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who is great at managing staff, growing staff and retaining staff. You will also undertake and be involved in improvement projects associated with the business to ensure continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of 12 staff
Manage roster system
Conduct performance reviews
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
Manage KPI's for team
Management of work schedules
Achieved improvements in operations
Oversee the devanning process and loading for import containers
Ensure the Hornby site is looking well maintained, ensuring compliance
Assist the overall management team to implement company-wide policies, procedures and systems
Complete H&S investigations
Ensure all inventory operations are completed correctly
Customer management
Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledgeable on audits and H&S protocols
Practical leadership experience in a warehousing environment including the recruitment, professional development and performance measurement of talent
Minimum of 3-5 years warehouse management exp
Strong relationship builder and able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
