Our Client, Vynco Industries, is a leading distributor of electrical components both within New Zealand and abroad. They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team in Auckland.
The North Island Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating their team, implementing new systems and processes, and ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse operations. Vynco is looking for a leader with a hands-on approach, willing to muck in with the team in addition to managing their day-to-day workload.
Your day-to-day responsibilities in the role: Overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate workflow.
Managing and mentoring the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensuring inventory accuracy and timely stock movement.
Coordinating with other departments to meet business needs and delivery deadlines.
Implementing and maintaining quality and compliance standards within the warehouse.
Resolving stock issues/discrepancies and customer complaints.
Overseeing all warehouse management processes, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
To be successful in the role you will be/have: Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager in a relevant industry/business.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management software and good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office with competent reporting and analysis skills.
Physically fit.
An understanding of Health and Safety in a warehousing environment.
Full NZ driver's licence and Forklift licence (F endorsed).
This role offers: A full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday, based in Mt Wellington.
