Warehouse Manager

Details of the offer

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the operations of a warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Oversee the daily operations of receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods to ensure efficient workflow.
·         Implement and optimise warehouse processes to improve productivity and streamline operations.
·         Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstock.
·         Supervise, recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
·         Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring proper equipment use and maintaining secure storage conditions.
·         Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transport providers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical issues.
·         Monitor warehouse expenses, implement cost-saving measures, and manage the overall warehouse budget.
·         Provide regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key metrics to management.
·         Create and manage staff rosters, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and efficient allocation of resources.
·         Ensure efficient order processing and delivery of materials that meet customer expectations and business timeline.
·         Inspect goods for any damages or defects and adjust inventory records as necessary to reflect accurate stock levels.
·         Process and fulfill customer orders in the inventory system, ensuring all records are accurately updated.
·         Assist with warehouse sales, including availability for weekend shifts and on-call duties when required.
 
Skills Required:
·         Three years proven relevant experience.
·         Ensure strict adherence to internal delivery processes and protocols.
·         Communicate promptly and effectively with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as needed to coordinate deliveries.
