Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) As the Warehouse Manager you will collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, focusing on delighting the customer as a primary goal. You will lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity targets are met whilst maintaining a safe working environment.The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below;Develop and execute strategies to enhance warehouse efficienciesAddress customer concerns, identify root causes, and standardise processes across the teamOversee all warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory controlCommunicate daily objectives and monitor team performance to meet targets and deadlinesMaintain up-to-date operational and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standard operating proceduresManage workforce scheduling and approve labour hours and leave.Enforce accurate inventory control processes and efficient picking operations.Uphold site maintenance and cleanliness standardsMaintain precise personnel records to ensure compliance with training and licensing requirementsProvide training to address operational challenges and enhance team performance.Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback for growth and developmentTake prompt action to eradicate employment related issues such as poor timekeeping, attendance and performance, using disciplinary measures when appropriate with the support of HRConduct daily safety checks and promote a culture of Zero Harm and HSE complianceCultivate a positive and engaged team cultureAbout youTo excel in this role, you'll need a track record of leadership in warehouse environments, adeptness in people management, a passion for refining processes, and the drive to foster growth through enhanced efficiencies.
