The successful candidate needs to have experience in managing a similar environment and be familiar with the challenges facing a growing manufacturing and export business. Examples of meeting continuous improvement goals will be beneficial.This senior role reports to the Site Manager and will have direct responsibility for 8 forklift operators including managing training, performance management and recruitment as required.This is a full-time permanent role based at our Super Kitchen site in Awatoto. It's a hands-on role, generally working Monday to Friday, although as our site runs 24/7, you will need to be flexible to ensure the smooth running of the site.If you are looking to join a growing organisation where you can make an active contribution, apply now!Key responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely order loading and container shipments, achieving DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time).Manage the Crown contract for Awatoto sites and Infolink asset monitoring.Oversee weekly stocktakes and ensure inventory accuracy.Lead the team with rostering, training, and development while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and environmental regulations.Key requirements:Commercially minded with a professional manner.Experience in a similar role at a similar level.Knowledge of ERP systems (we use ABEL).Positive outlook with a drive for continuous improvement.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing business with a global footprint.
