Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role involves:Co-ordinating the distribution, storage and transport of goods across NZ. Based in Tauriko, you'll need to be a hands-on team player who enjoys 'rolling up your sleeves' and leading by example to ensure orders are managed efficiently and shipments go out on time.You will be the key support to daily operations, handling order processing, ensuring compliance with safety standards, etc.This is a pivotal role where you will need to build great relationships with other teams across the business, i.e. customer services and production, to make sure everything runs smoothly. Occasional travel to other sites.Oversee distribution, storage and export processes.Monitor inventory and stock levels.Maintain safety standards across the team; dangerous goods experience is a bonus.Key Requirements:We are looking for a friendly, people-oriented individual with strong intuition and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have the ability to build rapport with teams across the organization. Through your personal dedication to consistently giving your best and leading by example, you will have the opportunity to earn respect, inspire others, and motivate teams to achieve their goals.Ideally, you will have leadership experience from a small to medium-sized team, or if not, you have a proven record of being a great worker in warehouse/distribution and you are wanting a career change.
