Warehouse & Distribution Storeperson The James Pascoe Group is New Zealand's leading retail organisation and currently has a vacancy for a Warehouse and Distribution Storeperson to join our busy and committed team based in the Auckland CBD fringe.This is a varied and busy role in a small warehouse and includes everything from picking and packing stock orders, unpacking and receipting of goods, dispatching orders, stocktakes and other general warehouse/distribution duties.To be the successful candidate we are seeking someone who has:Good Maths and English (Minimum NCEA Level 2 in English and Maths)Two years' relevant experience would be preferredA good level of computer skillsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalPhysically fit as heavy lifting is requiredEnjoy working in a team environmentShow a willingness to learn and develop skillsA positive and enthusiastic personalityKey functions include:Pick, pack and dispatch ordersUnload pallets and trucksRestock and replenish warehouse stockRegular stocktakesMaintain a clean and tidy warehouseThe position would suit someone looking to join a busy and progressive company.
You may be new to the work force and are keen to learn new skills, or you may already have experience working in distribution and are looking for a change.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm.Parking is available onsite and you will benefit from staff buying privileges at the James Pascoe Group.Candidates must have a New Zealand work visa or residency and will be expected to complete Credit and Criminal History Checks before employment commences.
