Warehouse Assistant

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team. If you have an eye for detail, a team-oriented mindset, and are physically fit, we'd love to hear from you.About Tight LinesWe are a wholesale company based in the sunny Hawkes Bay who have been in business for over 40 years. We are the New Zealand distributors for some leading brands in the outdoor industry and also sell into the industrial and gift markets. We offer a diverse range of products with over 30 brands and nearly 4,000 SKUs.Key Responsibilities:Packing Orders: Safely and securely packing products to ensure they reach our customers in perfect condition.Assisting With Order Picking: Accurately picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.Stock Management: Creating bin locations, topping up bin locations and ensuring stock is readily available for order fulfilment.Incoming Stock: Receive, check in, and unload pallets and containers.Warehouse Organisation: Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised to create a safe and efficient workspace.General Warehouse Duties: Contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with any additional warehouse tasks as needed.Must Haves:Attention to DetailTeam Player Attitude: Willing to pitch in and support your teammates to keep operations running smoothly.Dependability: Punctual, organised, and able to follow instructions.Physical Fitness: Comfortable with lifting and moving packages and working on your feet.The role starts on 20th January 2025. It is a full time position, working Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm. Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid NZ work visa.
