Warehouse Assistant - Drygoods

We are looking for a suitable person to join our team at Bidfood Invercargill in the position of Warehouse Assistant in the Dry Goods Dept.
This is a 5-day week - Monday to Friday role.
Hours of work are 0600 to 1530 but can vary depending on workload.The primary responsibility of this role is to receive inwards goods, accurately check product, replenish, and manage stock in the Dry Goods area.
You will also assist in picking and packing orders ready for delivery via our temperature-controlled trucks.We require specific focus on the following areas:Unloading freight of inwards goods via forklift - F endorsement and OSH cert requiredA knowledge of good Health and Safety practicePrevious experience in a warehouse situation would be great but not essentialEfficient and safe loading of our delivery vehiclesGreat communication skills including written and verbalTeam player, but also able to work unsupervisedPlease make no mistake, this is a physical job requiring urgency accompanied with accuracy.This position requires individuals to be physically fit and healthy as there is frequent lifting of 25kg involved.
Additionally, occasionally working in a temperature-controlled environment at temperatures of -25 degrees is also a requirement.
