Lumbry Park (Alton)Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital providing veterinary referral services across the South of England including London and the Thames Valley. Our services include Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment. We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates eight referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland.We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic RVNs to join our Referral Wards nursing team on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover. This role incorporates inpatient care and emergency and critical care, seeing a variety of cases working alongside our specialists and wards RVN team.Duties include but are not limited to:Participation in patient rounds.Nursing a range of patients from across all disciplines including ECC cases.Ensuring a high standard of nursing care and appropriate attention of the inpatients.Administering treatments and medications as directed by our specialist clinicians.Comprehensively communicating with all disciplines to ensure patient treatment plans are in place and correct.We have an 8 week induction process to help you settle into your new role and get to know the team, and a Learning and Education Team Leader to help support with any further training you may feel necessary.We offer an exceptional remuneration package including 5 weeks annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays, an enhanced contributory pension, and a competitive salary commensurate with experience amongst other benefits.We are deeply committed to supporting the well-being of our staff.
