Ward Clerk - Medically Managed Withdrawal Unit CADS at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata, Auckland Ward Clerk - Medically Managed Withdrawal Unit CADS Part-time (0.7 FTE - 28 hours per week) Based in Hobson St. Auckland City Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) provides a range of Alcohol and Drug services for the greater Auckland region with a population of over 1.5 million people and is operated by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waitemata.
About the role This position is a permanent, part-time role based in our new Medically Managed Withdrawal Unit in Hobson St.
It offers an exciting opportunity for those who like to make a difference by taking an important role in our busy community-based service.
The service provides a range of clinical interventions for individuals and their families assisting them in reducing and resolving alcohol and drug-related problems.
About you This is for an experienced administrative support person with strong customer service and computer skills.
The role will suit a person with a warm and outgoing personality who takes pride in their ability to make people feel valued.
An attention to detail and pride in your accuracy is essential.
You will act as the front-line point of contact and clerical admin support for the Inpatient Ward.
The smooth running of this service is up to you.
Previous public health administrative experience is preferred but not essential.
Full training is provided for the operation of the relevant databases and systems.
