*Morning 06.30 to 15.00
*Afternoon 14.30 to 23.00
*Night 22.30 to 07.00

Mo te tunga About the role The Christchurch Women's Hospital provides maternity services that are specialised to provide care to women who have medical problems or are experiencing complications in their pregnancy.
This position plays a key role in the effective functioning of the ward. The work involves transaction of admissions, discharges, transfers and management of patient records.
To be successful in this role you will ideally be from a clerical background, be an excellent communicator and have fantastic organisational skills. It would be beneficial if you have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team as well as experience working in the Health industry.
Responsibilities include: Meet and greet patients and their whanau Updating the rostering system Providing administrative duties Answering department telephone Liaise with patients, clinical and non-clinical staff Process patient information and records Your skills will include: Experience using a Patient Management System (desirable) Intermediate Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) Excellent interpersonal skills Organisational, time management and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Able to pick up and use new systems and technology Mo matou About Us We are committed to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring our partnership with Maori are at the forefront of all our conversations.
