Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whatu Ora - Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley DistrictLocation : Wellington Regional HospitalService : Ward Administration / Patient Administration ServicesContract : 2 year Fixed-term, part-time (8 hours per week)Salary : $70,970 to $78,397 dependent on experience (pro-rata)Korero mo te turanga - About the roleAs a Ward Administrator, your primary role will be acting sole charge to consistently deliver friendly and professional front of house reception duties for the ward.You will provide your top class customer service to all enquiries from every source, whilst presenting accurate and timely data entry, record collating and management.You will be responsible for creating and maintaining open lines of communication with reporting lines and all other teams you liaiseto ensure your tasks are completed effectively.This role is an invaluable asset to our clinical teams and the tasks you perform are essential for our wards to run smoothly.This role is worked Saturday and Sunday 9am - 1pm.Mo to matou ropu - About our team - We are a team within a team - within a team - This role is situated in the wards so your immediate team is the ward you are working on.You will be working with clinical staff and other health care providers, administratively supporting them and your ward - s needs.You are also part of the greater Ward Administration team who staff all other wards. The work you do is mainly replicated across all our wards so having your fellow colleague nearby for support and trouble-shooting works perfectly.The overarching service we report to administratively is Patient Administration Services (PAS).
