Waiting Staff

Cody's Restaurant is a busy Chinese restaurant in Queenstown, we are now looking for 2 full-time waiting staff to join our team.
This is a full time and permanent position, immediate start if you are successfully offered the job. You will work at least 30 hours per week, with hourly rate $28.20 - $30.00, depends on your skills and experience, responsible for serving food and beverages in our restaurant.
Key Duties include:

Setting and arranging tables
Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen staff
Serving food and beverages
Opening bottles and pouring beverages
Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen
Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses
Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sale machines and cash registers
May recommend wines to complement food

Relevant work experience or qualifications are preferred but not essential. Skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications in serving food and beverage will be advantageous. We provide basic training when you start the job.
We expect the candidates to have:

Flexibility to work on weeks, nights (up to 10pm) and public holidays when required
Drug free with a clean police record
NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa with unlimited work right.
