Waiting Staff

Lake View Seafood Restaurant in Wanaka provides authentic Chinese cuisine, especially Chinese-style seafood dishes. We are now looking for 3 full-time waiting staff to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 30-40 hours per week on a roster (minimum 30 hours guaranteed). We open 7 days a week until late, so please be aware that you may need to work nights, weekends, and public holidays. You will need to serve food and beverages in our restaurant. Your duties will include: Setting and arranging tables Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen staff Serving food and beverages Opening bottles and pouring beverages Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sale machines and cash registers May recommend wines to complement food Relevant work experience or qualifications are preferred but not essential. Skills, experience, knowledge, or qualifications in serving food and beverage will be advantageous. We provide basic training when you start the job.
