Waiter

We are looking for a dedicated waiter for our restaurant in Wellington.

We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate between $29.66 - $30 p/h. You will need to work according to the roster, including weekends and evenings.

The restaurant is a busy fine dining establishment, one of the longest-running restaurants in Wellington with a solid reputation for its unique Indian cuisine and outstanding service.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

Setting and arranging tables

Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists

Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages

Opening bottles and pouring beverages

Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen

Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses

Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers

May recommend wines to complement food

Relevant experience is welcomed
