We are looking for a permanent General Practitioner (Family Medicine physician) to join a friendly and supportive team. The role is for eight sessions (4 days) per week. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible team player who enjoys working in a busy practice. The practice will assist with Medical Council of NZ registration and Medical Indemnity Insurance. We are an exciting rural practice with two full-time GPs and one part-time GP. The practice has x-ray, physio, radiology, and a neurologist who visits once a month. This is a close-knit team who are passionate about rural health in a high needs community. The practice is only 15 minutes from New Plymouth. Waitara has a population of approximately 6300. This small family-oriented town is situated in the Northern part of the Taranaki region. Waitara is close to the sea and mountains, so if you enjoy fishing, surfing, mountain climbing, skiing, or trekking, then this is the region for you.
