Volunteer Role: Branch Coordinator Bellyful Franklin

We're looking for a new volunteer branch leader (or two) for our rewarding local charity – can you help? Bellyful Franklin cooks and delivers meals to whanau, with babies or young children, who need support.This is a fantastic volunteer role, supporting a strong team, and a chance to make a difference in the local community.How do I know if being a Branch Coordinator is for me?Do you like organising, making things hum, or are you a whiz at managing projects and people stuff?Our Branch Coordinators are people who:Love supporting and encouraging awesome volunteersEnjoy making a real difference in your local communityPrefer to be part of an established charity that is well organised, known and trustedHave some time to give othersMany of our Branch Coordinators work full or part time, some are retired or semi-retired, others are parents at home looking for a way to utilise their skills or develop new skills. The role involves recruiting, training and managing volunteers within your branch and ensuring all aspects of the branch are running smoothly. Each Bellyful branch has a core team of awesome volunteers, including people in key roles such as Cookathon and Delivery Coordinators.Our Branch Coordinators work from home at times that suit their work and whanau commitments.You don't need to have been involved with Bellyful before – we give you great support. You'll also get plenty of back-up from the fabulous branch volunteers, Bellyful NZ management and other Bellyful branches.We are looking for someone who lives in the Franklin region of Auckland.
