We are looking for an empathetic, resourceful and goal-driven manager to lead our Volunteer Programme and deliver on some key continuous improvement projects we have on the go at the Hospice.Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki enei mahi - About the workFull time fixed term opportunity for 6 months to run our Volunteer ProgrammeSupportive team environment with work from home and flexible hours optionsOpportunity to influence strategy development and be involved in continuous improvement projects, including systems and process developmentProvide guidance and support to volunteers in a range of roles across multiple sitesPartner with Hospice managers in relation to all aspects of the volunteer management cycleEnsure that an effective health, safety and wellbeing framework is in place to provide a healthy and safe working environment for volunteersThis role is based in our modern, purpose-built facility in Stoke with on-site parkingKo wai he kaitono totika?
- Who is an appropriate applicant?You will have experience in leading or co-ordinating volunteers and working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver on organisation goals.
Passionate about community engagement and able to see the 'big picture', you will also have a drive to ensure that best practice volunteer management is in place.
