Volunteer Day Hospice Cooks (Kapiti)

Do you enjoy home cooking and catering for groups of people? We are looking for a wonderful cook to share their creations with our patients who attend our Day Programme at our lovely community site in Kapiti Role Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing and providing a meal for approximately 12 patients.Your tasks will include:
Planning and preparing a light meal and dessertPreparing a shopping list for others to purchase the meal ingredients within a budgetCooking meals according to special needs and diets when requiredCleaning up after the meal servicePerson Requirements An interest in meal preparation and good kitchen skillsAbility to work in a team and be flexibleExcellent interpersonal skills and trustworthyHealthy, and safety consciousFully vaccinated with boosterAble to show care and manaakiCommitment
1.50 hours planning and shopping prior to Tuesday
10.00am – 2pm once a month on Tuesday
