Job Description
We are looking for 2 Visual Merchandisers to work in this busy and varied role. You will be joining an energetic team to execute merchandising strategies by creating and maintaining visual displays throughout the store.
You will ensure that all aspects of visual merchandising are of a consistently high standard, in keeping with the Ballantynes brand and in line with current advertising, branding and promotional activities.
Developing and implementing visually captivating displays and store layouts will be key strengths of yours that enhance the shopping experience, attract customers, and showcase products effectively.
You will oversee and organise product placement, ensuring that merchandise is presented in a way that aligns with brand identity and drives sales.
You will enjoy analysing customer behaviour and feedback to continuously refine merchandising strategies, creating an environment that meets customer needs and encourages repeat business.
You will manage the stock flow in departments, ensuring new stock is merchandised on the floor in a timely manner and work closely with buyers and Visual Design & Merchandising Supervisor to ensure plans and requests are managed for departments.
Successful Candidates
The ideal applicants will have the following attributes:
Previous visual merchandise experience essential
Self-motivated, organised and able to meet deadlines
Creative eye and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage tasks effectively
Strong communication skills
A passion for visual merchandising
Able to work autonomously as well as understand the importance of teamwork.
Full NZ drivers' licence
Additional Information
These roles are full time, 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.
