Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa.James Cook High School is a school with sustained improvements across a wide range of metrics, including improving learning, engagement and achievement.We are seeking an enthusiastic New Zealand registered teacher of visual arts to start on 28 January 2025, who demonstrates empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture. The ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students to develop and undertake multiple pathways is essential.Successful applicants will demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the New Zealand Curriculum and teaching pedagogies.
