### Job Description:

L-3 Communications is seeking a dedicated and confident Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic team in Christchurch, Canterbury. As a part-time Virtual Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative tasks that help ensure the smooth functioning of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support, possess excellent time management skills, and exhibit a meticulous attention to detail. ### Responsibilities:

- **Administrative Support**: Provide general administrative assistance including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files to streamline operations.
- **Communication Management**: Handle incoming communications through emails and phone calls, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and directing them to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- **Document Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents, ensuring that all materials are accurate and formatted correctly.
- **Research Tasks**: Conduct research as needed to support team initiatives, gathering and organizing relevant information for review and analysis.
- **Data Entry and Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our databases, ensuring all customer and operational information is correctly inputted and available for reference.
- **Project Coordination**: Collaborate with team members on specific projects, tracking deadlines, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines.
- **Customer Support**: Engage with clients and partners to provide support and information, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- **Ad-hoc Tasks**: Perform other administrative support duties as assigned, including but not limited to creating spreadsheets, preparing expense reports, and managing travel arrangements.

### Requirements:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a virtual work environment.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
- **Dedicated Work Ethic**: A strong commitment to meeting deadlines, delivering high-quality work, and supporting team objectives.
- **Confidence**: Ability to communicate effectively and assertively with colleagues, clients, and partners.
- **Time Management**: Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet project deadlines.
- **Attention to Detail**: A keen eye for detail in all aspects of work, from document preparation to data entry and communication.
