An opportunity has come up at our Marlborough vineyards for a Vineyard Operator with vineyard experience desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a positive, experienced, and self-motivated individual to join our established viticulture team.

Your unique contribution

This is a varied role, and you will be required to work on any of our Wairau Valley Vineyards and be actively involved in all aspects of vineyard work including vine management activities, use of LUVs and tractors, frost protection, harvesting, irrigation installation, and maintenance.

You will add value to the team through:

Carrying out day-to-day vineyard tasks safely and efficiently.

Setting up, operating, and maintaining vineyard machinery and equipment.

Actively participating in improving operational effectiveness.

Bringing your own unique personality and values to the team.

Preferred:

Vineyard experience (not essential as on-the-job training will be provided).

Intermediate skill level operating equipment and machinery.

Ability to work additional hours from time to time, particularly during the Vintage period.

Essential:

Good levels of fitness due to the physical nature of the role.

High standards of work, flexibility, and ability to build strong relationships.

Driver's Licence.

Sense of humour.
