This is a unique, challenging and exciting role based in Kurow. Acting as 2IC to the onsite Winemaker and with guidance and assistance from the Viticultural team, this position offers the opportunity to follow the annual cycle of the winemaking and grape growing calendar, deep diving into everything involved in growing premium grapes and making premium wines.The ideal candidate would have:Experience in and passion for the wine industryProficiency with chemical handling, tractors and associated equipmentGreat organisational and time management skills with attention to detailTeam leadership ability, giving clear and courteous directionA good level of physical fitnessA valid driver's licenseThis role offers the opportunity and ability to grow, learn and expand your knowledge, working within a supportive team and with fruit from some of the most diverse vineyards in Otago. You would be expected to assume considerable responsibility and be equipped with the tools you need to do so.Applicants must be New Zealand residents or possess the right to work permanently in New Zealand.Competitive remuneration will be offered based on the skill set and experience of the successful applicant.
