Working in our custom designed site in Hamilton, NZ, you – as the successful hire, will lead the day-to-day operations of our core services team. Ensuring the provision of high-quality, efficient, effective, and timely diagnostic testing services for the IDEXX Reference Laboratories. You as a Team Lead will ensure that IDEXX Reference Laboratories chemistry, haeamatology and trace elements team operates at the highest level of accuracy by performing, supervising, and acting upon quality control procedures – setting up instruments, and preparing, running, interpreting, and releasing results while troubleshooting performance, in compliance with IANZ certification requirements. You will have: A Bachelor of Medical Science/or equivalent degree. Experience working in in a diagnostics laboratory. Chemistry and haematology experience is essential. Experience with leading a small team An understanding of IANZ and ISO 17025, standards The ability to be flexible and comfortable with full time hours between Monday-Saturday on rotating day shifts. Experience in operating efficiently and effectively to meet tight turnaround times in a commercial lab environment Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
