Venue Technical & Safety Supervisor The Venue Technical & Safety Supervisor leads floor operations in relation to customer service and staff leadership with a key focus on safety. This role is responsible for leading the technical team to ensure operational efficiencies and the safe setups, operating and breakdowns of audio-visual equipment for our events. Responsibilities Manage quality control across all technical elements for all events Manage the flow of safety documents and ensure all onsite staff are following the required safety processes Work closely with the Venue Compliance team to ensure adherence to all safety processes Manage the daily paperwork for technical team members Provides excellent service and strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers Maintains a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication Leads the team in proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment What we're looking for in our Venue Technical & Safety Supervisor In this role you will provide leadership, coordination, and hands on delivery in the installation, operation, and removal of AV equipment. As a Senior Technician you will form part of the senior production team working with the most qualified and respected AV technicians and managers.
Previous experience in audio visual technology Safety focused, with an eye for detail Proven track record of managing a large team of people Proven management or supervisory experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Highly developed customer service skills Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines What we can offer you and why you'll love the Encore team No day is the same but every day is rewarding!
