Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking a motivated and experienced Venue Operations Specialist to join our Venues and Events team.As a Venue Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting our Venue Leads to ensure that all events are staged to the highest standards. You will oversee the operational aspects of our venues (TSB Stadium and Bowl of Brooklands), ensuring seamless execution and exceptional experiences for all attendees.Key Responsibilities:Event Planning: Successfully deliver clients' event requirements whilst providing sound direction and information to get the best possible outcome for all.Assist with the operation of venues and equipment to ensure a safe and secure environment and to meet customer expectations and contractual requirements.Actively ensure that legislative requirements and Council policies and procedures are fulfilled, particularly in relation to all key relevant legislation.Be the 2IC of the venue if the Lead is absent.Rostering event requirements to ensure that each event is covered while working directly with the Senior Events and Operations Coordinator.Hand over detailed event plans to operations officers to deliver (run sheets, maps, floor plans, etc.).Oversee venue maintenance to ensure the venue is presented to a high standard.Any other duties as determined or required by the business.Minimum Requirements:Experience in venue operations would be an advantage.Full driver's licence.Some knowledge of Excel and Word.Experience in health and safety in venues would be an advantage.He aha ai a Taranaki? - Why Taranaki?With the stunning Mt Taranaki as a backdrop and the warm iron sands along our coast, it is no wonder Taranaki is one of the best regions in New Zealand and the world.
