About Miss Rita's Cantina: Miss Rita's Cantina is an energetic, authentic Tex-Mex restaurant located in the Upper Village in Queenstown.
We pride ourselves on providing unforgettable experiences for our guests, combining delicious Tex-Mex cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional service.
About the role: As the Venue Manager at Miss Rita's Cantina, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and brand growth of our newest and biggest venture to date.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the venue, maintaining the highest standards of service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Additionally, you will champion efforts to establish and grow our brand alongside the Marketing team; nurture a vibrant company culture by collaborating with the People & performance team; and foster strong relationships between the back-of-house and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a dedicated team, fostering excellence, teamwork, and a strong company culture.
Manage all venue operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, and both restaurant and bar areas.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement procedures with the assistance of the operations manager to ensure compliance and consistency in the venue.
Coordinate with the culinary team for timely delivery of food and drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Train and mentor staff for exceptional service, addressing issues promptly and instilling a commitment to company values.
Monitor sales and targets, implementing strategies for profitability and growth.
Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to establish and promote Miss Rita's brand identity.
About you: Proven leadership experience in hospitality, preferably venue management.
Understanding of venue operations, including food and beverage service and guest relations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams.
Previous experience of opening new venues or brands is a bonus.
Financial management proficiency.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
