Venue Manager

AAG1313 LIMITED is a dynamic company known for delivering exceptional dining experiences at New Street Steakhouse, Nelson. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Venue Manager to lead our team, who will be responsible for the following duties: Organize and oversee bar and service operations to ensure a high-quality guest experience. Monitor compliance with liquor, health, and safety regulations. Act as the primary liaison for suppliers, maintenance, security, and their representatives. Manage staffing needs, including hiring and overseeing employee training and development in collaboration with the Director. Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients to facilitate bookings and services. Ensure all patrons receive a warm welcome and exceptional service. Maintain and enforce security measures on the premises. Collaborate with management to coordinate marketing campaigns and communicate offers and promotions to clients. Address customer complaints promptly and escalate any unresolved issues to management. Oversee financial and purchasing activities to ensure efficient operations. Work Hours and Benefits - Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week - Paid between $30 to $34 per hour Other requirements: Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience in hospitality or relevant Qualification level 5 or above Available to work on weekends and evening shifts Manager's Certificate preferable Team worker Leadership Skills Good with managing time.
