This role will suit a leader who is passionate about great wine, spirits and food. You will have the desire to share and expand your knowledge of hospitality, with the ambition to grow in the role. As the Venue Manager of the Gibbston Tavern, you'll be hands-on and responsible for day-to-day operations of the venue. Including: Staff training and maintaining training standards Overseeing stock control, including managing inventory Handling key administrative tasks such as booking management and reporting Utilising your strong sales and hospitality background to drive business success What you'll need: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role Proven experience in hospitality management Excellent communication skills and time management A customer-first mentality, with the leadership skills to match A reliable vehicle and able to drive in NZ legally Permanent accommodation in Queenstown or within the local area Currently, we are only accepting applications from candidates with unrestricted work rights in NZ; there is no sponsorship available for this role.
