Put your skills to work in new and unexpected ways, powered by the latest technology.The Vendor & Contract Advisor will work closely with the Procurement Manager and will play a critical role in ensuring procurement-related strategies are executed efficiently and smoothly and that all procurement and SLA contracts align with the firm's strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.
This role will involve managing high-value contracts, vendor negotiations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and commercial standards to ensure PwC is able to derive maximum value and mitigate risks associated with third-party engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement structure: Develop and implement procurement structure to optimise cost and supplier performance including the potential to implement a procurement/supplier management system.Relationship management: Manage supplier contracts and relationships to ensure quality service delivery.Compliance assurance: Ensure all contracts meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.Vendor negotiations: Negotiate terms and conditions for procurement agreements.Contract management: Monitor contract compliance, quality of delivery and mitigating risks.Performance monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance standards for vendors to ensure they meet agreed SLAs and performance standards.Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.Continuous improvement: Stay informed of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies that are related to vendor and contract management.Minimum Requirements4-5+ years of business operations experience including procurement/contract management or similar.A relevant qualification in business, operations, law, or supply chain management (preferred).Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex contracts.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.BenefitsUnrivalled level of access to industry expertise, both locally and through our wider global network of member firms, where you'll be enabled by cutting-edge technology.A cash contribution to enable you to set up your home workspace, supporting your flexible working.An annual cash contribution to spend on items or activities that support your wellness.Life and income protection as part of our total remuneration package.Enhanced leave capabilities - an opportunity to purchase additional leave and two staff recognition days available each year.Opportunities, training resources and in-role time to contribute to solving community and societal issues through the PwC Foundation's core programmes aimed at child wellbeing through education (Toitoi and FLiP) and governance roles for not-for-profit organisations (On Board).Digital upskilling through our Digital Academy.Mo te aha tau e tatari ana?
