The company seeks to employ a dynamic and experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive the continued success of the dealership. Key responsibilities Lead the sales team by example, fostering exceptional customer engagement and utilising customer satisfaction scoring to enhance the overall customer experience Actively trade-in and sell both new and used vehicles alongside your management duties, ensuring the department meets its sales targets while maintaining high standards of service. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise sales revenue, drive customer loyalty, and achieve business objectives Create and implement strategies to build and maintain the organisation's image and reputation with customers, investors, and the wider public Direct promotional strategies to promote the organisation's goods and services to a wide audience, enhancing brand visibility and market share Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an automotive vehicle sales department, with expertise in purchasing, stock control, DMS processes, and relevant legislation A Bachelor degree is acceptable if you do not have 5 years of relevant work experience Positive and results-driven attitude, with a passion for achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations Proven ability to mobilise teams to achieve greatness, recognising and rewarding exceptional performance within a team-based environment Excellent communication, decision-making, motivation, and organisational skills Strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining a positive organisational image and reputation Proficiency in financial management and analytical skills to monitor and optimise departmental performance Remuneration will consist of a base salary of $71k per annum with commissions over and above this resulting in an estimated total salary of $80k - $90k Full time, permanent role consisting of a 40-hour working week with rostered weekdays in lieu of weekend work Company car How to apply Submit your application through the apply section of this ad.
